Hi again, Ned!

Modeling was never meant to be a long-term thing. It’s too physically and mentally draining to constantly watch my weight and going on casting after casting. But the experience was priceless.

The intent of communication is why I love translation so much. But over time I realized that the type of events that can afford to hire interpreters (investment meetings and academic seminars etc.) tend to have speakers that don’t really speak to communicate, they speak to hear their own voice.

The effort to communicate is just not there. That’s why I now work for a design firm. I much prefer helping designers tell stories than convince a room full of people why multi-level marketing can totally make them rich.
